Assam Rifles High School, Kohima, Nagaland was established in the year 1958 with a vision to provide quality education to children of Assam Rifles Personnel. It started as a primary school and was upgraded as a Middle School in the year 1968. The School was initially Recognized by Department of Education, Nagaland after being upgraded as High School in 2004, the school has been Affiliated to Central Board Of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E).

All the school buildings are set amidst beautiful green lawns and have all the facilities required for the all round development of children such as well stocked libraries and well-equipped laboratories.

The student of ARPS are trained to handle curricular and co-curricular activities simultaneously. Special care is take to instill self-discipline in their receptive minds. They are being schooled to become responsible leaders with a commitment to society.
